About Apple

My primary computer is an Apple iBook G4 (powerpc chip). I never had problems with it. MACOSX Tiger is a great OS, based on UNIX so I can have fun and work too. I installed Linux too, using yaboot as boot loader. And I have about 5 hours of autonomy (they where 6 at the beginning).

The new MacBooks are cool. The primary feature is that they run Intel Core Duo chip. It’s surely faster, but the battery? Apple web site doesn’t say much about that. I know that a new MacBook “lives” at most 4 hours.

Moreover there where serious problems with MacBooks, like Mac Books Random Shutdown. Now seems that the recently released version 7 of iTunes is infested with bugs and someone suggest to do not upgrade to iTunes 7. I really hope that the new iPods will work fine ’cause I’d like to have one of them soon

Perhaps I talked too dirty about Apple. Now I try to put right pointing out these funny clips about mac&pc. They tell the truth. In italian too
