Flash Player for Linux/PPC

I was bitterly disappointed when I discovered that Macromedia Adobe Flash Player 9 was available for Linux (version 8 wasn’t), but not for AMD64 and PPC platforms!!

To face this problem you have some weapons in hand:

  1. you can sign the petitions about Flash Player for Linux/PPC and Linux/AMD64
  2. you can inform Adobe of this problem submitting this form
  3. you could also try to use Gnash, a GNU Flash Movie Player, that seems to work but at this moment it’s still an alpha2 version. For more informations about Gnash, have a look at the interview with Rob Savoye, the lead developer on the project.

No more weapons, sorry. Try to ask to Mikhail Kalashnikov.
